They write themselves

I have heard writers, real writers,
Say the character wrote himself
Or the work just came to them.
And, know what, it kinda, it sort
Of does just that. Phrases form
And descriptions bloom. I have
Now, become the instrument of
My poetry. "Ah, girl, get over your
Self-congratulatory self."
