Under construction

The corner is throbbing with 
Noise. All of it to do with the
Busy hum of construction. At
One end a too tall for humans
Building is rising. On another,
It's repair and restoration. All
Loud. Some deafening. Drills.
A backup beep. A large drum
Mixing concrete. An engine or
A whine. Ignore it if you can.
