Lear on the moor

Have you lost your way so far that
You secure the rapacious daughter,
Honor the unworthy son? Those you
Should- nay can- trust you cast aside,
Deeming the trustworthy in doubt.
Your day is filled with whipping winds
And swirls of an uncertain mind. Your
Night could find you comfort if you let
Love comfort and care for you. There
Is a child that would give you tender
Care in exchange for nothing but your
Need. You needn't show her a kindness
Not even a word of gratitude or praise.
She will help you find your way and let
You enjoy the restoration of your wits.

Short the ‘g

How do you relax?

There's a song for almost any phrase
As it pops into my head. As it arises
With elipses, colloquial inaccuracies
Hum along with my thoughts, every
Endin' short one g, feels picturesque
Maybe it's picaresque. Maybe I'm not
Sharp 'cause I am tired. Tired 'cause
I need to relax. Listen to the song and
"Takin' it easy." Ending short a g, wiz!

Good Time

It shouldn't surprise you that it's
All about time and that I am writing
About time and wondering what the
Time might be where you are or if
You have the time and asking if it's
The right time now for you or for us
For me, the time is ripe and always
Right. It's right on time, I would say
Are you surprised? Time is on my mind
This time, next time, every time, always
I wonder and ask is this a good time?

What time is it

From Tamara, really

Hearts break

So hot

In the heat, when you can see the air

You don't want to see the air, really,

Do you? Warm.. no way past warm all

The way to sticky and thick, it's not to be

Ignored or treated lightly. It's not. Light,

That is, air this heavy is carried on your

Back, your neck and shoulders like a

Mantle or a yoke. It's assertive; it's

Aggressive, sometimes nasty. See the

Air. In the heat. You can't shake it off.

Quiet. Peace. Snuff.

Up to snuff. What?
Minding my p's and
Q's. I was thinking it
Refers to peace and
To quiet, but how do
I mind those. Listen
To your quiet. Obey
The peace. Count off
Your alphabet "a, b, c
D" and when you get
Up there it's "l, m, en,
Oh, pea, queue." What
Is up to snuff anyway?
Just minding my p's...

Giddy

Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

Ups and downs and sometimes sidewise
I bet you are so excited you can't walk a
Straight line. The narrow is hard to hold
For those of us giddy with excitement. I
Can hardly contain myself. I feel I needn't
Though maybe I should. Is it unseemly to
Show so much emotion. My cup, it runs
Over, if I may part with the cliche. Too
Much. Just enough. Oh it's perfect I bet.
