The whole world should glitter like
This. Like it does for us tonight and
Most nights when we pay attention.

The whole world should glitter like
This. Like it does for us tonight and
Most nights when we pay attention.
Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?
Any fan would recognize them in
A minute, but why are the famous
Famous. For talent, I'm sure, they
Are good at what they do. That's
Why and where they got us fans
To fawn and pfumffer. Fame can
Flicker like the light of a candle in
The wind. You age and that talent
Is no longer in demand. But you,
You made your name. Any fan will
Remember you. You are recognized.
A dappling sun beams on the river,
Twinkling, playful like dolphins in
The sea. So many shades of blue, of
Green, colors in a spectrum of greys
All speckled and flecked. Lively
Shining in the brightness of a sun
Gleaming, dancing over the waters
How much would you pay to go to the moon?

Is it worth a penny, as it might be
For your thoughts, or millions as
In "it is out of reach and far away?"
Your thoughts are very lofty if you
Are focused on the moon. For some
Of us just navigating the earth is
Challenge enough, and that doesn't
Require packing for the unfamiliar
Atmosphere of a distant delicate
Moon, cold and yet still romantic.
Our moon is symbolic of all things
Love and loving. Lovers meet below
A blue moon or celebrate a yellow
One. Its phases are phrases of awe
And praise. Full moon or crescent
Where will you land? Will you go?

Eddies swirl, whispering,
Gossiping about the boats
Flat-bottomed, deep-helmed
Passing above, making the
Ripples that collide east to
West across their paths. The
Water is calm and wild all
In one, and the gossip, as
Gossip will, never slows.

If you could bring back one dinosaur, which one would it be?
Big bodied beasts once
Wandered over hill and,
You know, dale. Some ate
Others. Others ate leaves.
TRex was scariest, but the
One who is biggest is new
To my vocabulary. He is
Patagotitan mayorum or
Titanosaur. His femur was
8 feet long. My my. Bigger
Than others they've found.
Pata. M. was prone to eating
Plants. Two meat eaters were
Discovered larger than King
Tyrannosaurus. Things have
Changed since I learned my
Lessons at the Museum of
Natural History. They say
From new finds that these
Dinos roamed at different
Geological eras and the
Numbers of how long ago
Are as big or bigger than
The big bodied beasts that
Wandered o'er hills past.
I see my footfalls drop in the
Clouds that line a path in the
Sky. Upside down, but headed
Toward an infinite aerie in the
Air. Above always above and
So much more to go than we
Go here below. It's infinite in
The sky, clouds massing in the
Patterns they form, light and
Airy. Above. Here below it's so
Finite and defined. There is so
Much more to explore above
In the clouds. My path in the
Sky has no end. Doesn't stop
Tonight, the sun was a red so
Improbably fiery, it slipped
Outside of all memory. It was
As round as a beach ball but
Left the feel of a full moon in
Its passage across my near
Sky. Bright and beautiful it
Disappeared, peaking behind
Familiar buildings in its odd
And unfamiliar voyage. Red.
Not the red of sunsets but a
Big red setting sun filling my
Window with its unusual
Presence. No precedent for
A sun like this. Fiery and red.
The daffodils think highly of
Themselves. They know who
They are. They are the flowers
Of the field and flowers are
To be prized. They are special.

Buildings, normally solid, shimmer with
The brightening illumination of an early
Sky, illuminated as if from within by sun,
In contrast to clouds, dark and edifying.
Luminescence in the early morning light.
