And requires no adjustment to

Your world or mine. Will what
I say change your mind? That
I cannot guarantee or predict.
Go with your gut, your instinct.
Changes are hard, harder than
Letting it be. I want to make a
Change, but plus ça change is
A formula for things staying as
They are. The retort is "it's the
Same," or plus c'est la meme 
Chose. The same but more so.

Out in space

Describe your life in an alternate universe.

There is a Zen in clouds.
It isn't like we are lost.
Space is vast, so we are
Small. Specks really in
Time as well as in space.
Getting lost requires that
We go. Somewhere. We 
Do not. Go anywhere that
Is. Out in space, a walk is
More like a fly. No gravity
To maintain our gravitas.
Zipping along, barely able
To take a breath. We have
Adapted to an atmosphere 
Here. In space, which is vast.
It isn't like we are lost. Here.

You are. Speed slowed automobile
Development. It was a distraction. 
Are you distracted? Am I? Why so
Fast when slow will get us there too?

A good peach

So extra succulent that it drips
Down your arm and into the sink.
Juicy summer sweet fruit gets
Better with each hot month as it
Passes from mid May to August.
I am a big fan of luscious peaches.
Their cousins, the nectarines are
Tarter, with a distinct personality, 
And lovely but hardly ever as full
Of juice and, being tart not so very
Sweet. A nectarine will not drip its
Summery spirits down your arms.
Your peaches will bathe you in the
Aromatic tastes of a summer's day.

Is atypical for another. A pickle
That's what it is, figuring out 
The ins, outs, or what it's about.
Typical is inimical to rah rah ha!
Typical cries out ho hum and ba!
Hum drum is typical. Ordinary is
Atypical or a typical day. A quiz
Will whiz by in a blink if you can
Say any day is an ordinary one.
