Giddy

Tell us about the last thing you got excited about.

Ups and downs and sometimes sidewise
I bet you are so excited you can't walk a
Straight line. The narrow is hard to hold
For those of us giddy with excitement. I
Can hardly contain myself. I feel I needn't
Though maybe I should. Is it unseemly to
Show so much emotion. My cup, it runs
Over, if I may part with the cliche. Too
Much. Just enough. Oh it's perfect I bet.

Plans

How do you plan your goals?

Serendipity plays havoc with any
Simple plan to attain any simple
Or any complex goal. It's an ample
Example. Random choices, many
Take you to places unexpectedly
Splendid. Meeting and exceeding
Your goal. Who knew, collectively,
That accidentally you'd be beating
Bigger plans and getting what you
Want, what you need, deserve. Do.

Contingency

Create an emergency preparedness plan.

In the event of this (A)
Do that. Otherwise say
Nothing. Grab a bag, a
Hat, an umbrella. You
Never know. Really do
You? It's always good
To plan, but what are
We planning for? (Let
It dangle if it must)- a
Disaster? An event tha'
Surprises. Never regret
What you prepare for.
Prepared you are care
-Free and -ful.(Would
Like to explain angle on
What it is that dangles-
Ending a sentence with
A preposition- no more)
But back to our planning
It won't avert a disaster,
It'll let you be the master.
Control, ah, you're hoping
Will lessen that feeling o'
Dread. Carefree, dreadless
In the event of that, do this.

Mixed reviews

What profession do you admire most and why?

Big hats off to the cowboy as he ropes
A steer. Then hunger makes my hopes
Ride to a kitchen. Heck, lotsa delicacies
Here. We've eaten, nay dined on fancies
And fruits. Sated, we find a book to read
And transport us to a lost city a hundred
Years gone. Elusive, fine and particular,
Built to specifications easy and oracular
Cowman, chef, historical author meet in
The rooms our architect plans to walk in

My wares

If you were going to open up a shop, what would you sell?

My wares, where? I carry them
On my cart and my back. I want
To open my shop. Envious, I am
Of Oram and Jonah, who taunt
Me with their square footage in
The new bazaar in Bahram Arag.
Their success is so marvelous in
Oh, so many ways but me, I gag.
Jealousy is green like bile, much
Like poison, it's hard to swallow,
Take it as you would a pill, crush
It and hold back your envy. Allow
No thoughts, call out, your voice
Ringing the sale of your wares.
You can brag that they're choice.
Peddling's an art as you're aware.
I carry my wares on my cart and
My back. I'm a peddler excellant.

Do as I say

What change, big or small, would you like your blog to make in the world?

Changes are harder than stasis
The status quo is quid pro, as is,
And requires no adjustment to
Make changes, big or small, to
Your world or mine. Will what
I say change your mind? That
I cannot guarantee or predict.
Go with your gut, your instinct.
Changes are hard, harder than
Letting it be. I want to make a
Change, but plus ça change is
A formula for things staying as
They are. The retort is "it's the
Same," or plus c'est la meme
Chose. The same but more so.
